The trade's Flat Pack cutting shop, not a retailer

Our foundation
FlatCab Co. started because getting a single odd-sized cabinet in a reasonable timeframe on the Sunshine Coast was harder than it needed to be.
The choice was a flat-pack range that only came in 50mm steps, or a full custom quote with a ten-week lead time. One was the wrong size, the other was the wrong timeframe, and both left you packing out the difference or waiting.
So we set up to do the middle thing: machine-cut carcasses at any dimension, edged and drilled, priced like flat-pack and turned around in a couple of weeks. Same board and the same hardware the trade uses — just cut to the number you actually measured.
Our partnerships
Our facility serves as an extension for cabinet makers and construction professionals. You manage your client relationships and installations; we handle the precision machining in the background. We never compete for your leads or host a public showroom.
We also welcome savvy DIYers who possess 100% accurate cutting lists. Please note: we do not provide onsite consulting, design services, or layout planning.
Our process
The number you measured
If you order 437mm you get 437mm. We do not round to the nearest standard and leave you to make up the difference — and an odd size costs what the standard one does.
A price that stands
The quote you approve is the invoice you pay. Variations only happen if you change the order. We price against real board sizes and hardware before we send it, which is why it holds.
Fix it locally
Everything is cut here. A remake is a day or two, not a reorder from another state — which matters when your client is waiting.
Flat-pack only
We do not assemble. That is a deliberate trade-off: it is what keeps the price and the lead time where they are.
